The Order was once known as the Order of the Sacred Flame — a fanatic extremist group that wielded faith as a weapon, persecuting anything touched by shadow. It reformed into the Order of the Sacred Light, but the old ways of extremism are resurfacing. Yondal tempers dogma with compassion and suspects the Sacred Flame's absolutism was always incomplete, though he does not say so publicly.

Solarae, the City of Radiance, is a theocratic capital in Verda Niterra governed by the Enlightened Conclave. A hub for various races devoted to light, blending maritime civilizations, Nordic ice beings, and human faithful under a unified commitment to harmony and knowledge.
