Beliefs & Faith
Ancestral dwarven fire traditions. The Council of Flamecallers' forge-faith — fire and earth are the truest expressions of creation. Earth spirits and volcanic elementals are revered as sacred forces. 'The mountain does not worship; it endures.' His faith is in stone, fire, and the work of one's hands.
Geography & Territory
Stoneheart is an obsidian city built inside and around an active volcano in Verda Niterra. Magma-powered forges and living metal make it the industrial and martial heart of dwarven civilization. Maintains deep connections with earth elementals and stone beings.
Council Scene — Thomas's Arrival
Arms crossed for most of the session, stone-faced. Watched Thomas with granite-dark eyes, saying nothing for a long time. When he finally spoke, it was to challenge Thomas directly — not hostile, but testing. When Thomas didn't flinch, Brondar gave a slow nod of grudging respect.
“Deep underground ruins most of the time hold secrets… and secrets hold power.”
Costs & Stakes
Conservative caution sometimes means slow response to emerging threats. His distrust of experimentation puts him at odds with Thimblegear and Soren. Stoneheart's volcanic power is a double-edged sword — the city could be destroyed by the very forces it harnesses.
Tome I → Tome II Arc
From skeptical pragmatist to reluctant believer as Thomas proves himself in the field. Ancient dwarven ruins beneath Stoneheart may hold connections to the Ethereal Web that force Brondar to reconsider what he thought he knew about his own homeland.
